Prophesy Team from Philly

What an amazing morning we had! Today was the much anticipated day when a team from Covenant Fellowship church in Philadelphia came to pray for, prophesy over, and encourage all the PC couples!

I went into the morning not really sure what to expect, but was absolutely blown away by how the Lord showed up and ministered to all of us in powerful ways! To hear specific words being spoken over friends was so amazing...and so accurate! And then to have several members of the team pull Rob and I aside and encourage us, prophesy over us, and pray for us was like nothing else I've experienced! We were so humbled, encouraged, refreshed and edified by all that was spoken and all that we heard! This day will not soon be forgotten by any of us! Rob and I can't wait to sit down together on our next date and read over and evaluate the notes taken for us of the words spoken over us! I am more convinced than ever, that the gift of prophesy is alive and well today in God's church...all he is looking for are eager, humble, and willing servants!

Thank you Lord, for sending your Holy Spirit into our midst today and refreshing our souls through your servants and your presence! The more I learn of you and experience you, the more of you I want! May that hunger never by quenched! All praise and glory to you!

The Latest

Well, this week has had many up's and downs and it's really only half way over! Saturday night Rob started feeling bad, and by Sunday morning he was willing to admit he was sick! Monday morning he went to the doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis!!! Monday afternoon I left all the boys while they slept to go to my doctor appointment. Everything with the baby looks great and I got to hear the heartbeat!! What a wonderful sound!

The boys are fairing okay amidst the "sick zone", though they are possibly showing small signs of a cold coming on...nothing major! Praise the Lord for his protection from all the germs! And Rob is on the mend now that he's had 2 and 1/2 days of antibiotics running through him! He plans to try to attend class tomorrow, though promises to come home if he starts feeling bad again or gets over tired.

Sorry I don't have any recent pictures to post! I am itching for a warm day to get out with the boys and play and snap away! Hurry Spring!!! This Texas girl has Spring fever something awful!

New Bundle of Joy on the Way!

Just wanted to officially share our newest and most surprising news of the winter...we are expecting our 3rd little Tombrella sometime in mid September! I will be 11 weeks pregnant this Sunday and last week we had our first ultrasound of the baby! Everything looked good...there is only one (thank heavens!), and her heart (we are hopeful for a girl, can you tell?) was beatin' away! Of course we won't really know the sex for another 9 weeks or so...we just pray that Sam's request for a baby sister is prophetic! :)
I've been feeling pretty lousy the past 5 weeks, but the light at the end of the morning sickness "tunnel" is getting brighter as my 12 weeks mark is nearly in sight!
Rob has been such a huge help, carrying the load many nights of fixing dinner, missing some classes to help me at home, and taking care of the boys. He also has done more laundry than he's probably done our entire marriage, and I am SO grateful! What a kind, gracious, and serving husband I have...thank you Rob for caring for me in such tangible ways! You are truly a treasure!

One Small Step...

It might look like one small step for most, but it is a giant leap for the Tombrella family...Samuel has successfully pee-peed in the potty last night after bath and twice this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh the joy this mother feels and the ray of hope she sees! It has felt like the unachievable goal, but in the Lord's kindness, he has renewed my faith that no, Samuel will not be wearing diapers when he graduates high school! And Lord willing, Joel will quickly follow suit and join right in on the potty success!
All praise to our ever-faithful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
